Republicans started the 118th Congress by ushering in a new era of leadership. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) quickly launched legislation to provide help and support to people devastated by unforeseen circumstances surrounding their terminated pregnancies, pushing swiftly to make reform to preserve life at all stages.

Wagner issued a statement congratulating the bill’s passing. She emphasized that not only infants are victims because“whole families all suffer deeply from the loss of their child.” She continued by saying that all kids should get “lifesaving medical care.”

Fox News announced. The GOP, according to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, is placing “their extreme views on women’s health” on display by enacting laws that the majority of Americans oppose.
Former Speaker Pelosi attacked Republicans in a harsh way for taking a “extreme anti-choice agenda.” that denies people access to reproductive healthcare. The Left, according to her, is steadfast in its commitment to ensure access and choice for everyone. “without fear of violence, intimidation or harassment.”
Without a significant change in the balance of power in Washington, the Republican effort to enact pro-life legislation seems doomed to failure. Despite passing the House, it is now dead on arrival due to Democratic control of the Senate and the White House’s veto power. The only plausible alternative left is a resounding election victory in 2024, but even this route is fraught with difficulties, not to mention any prospective legislative reform.
