The potential repercussions of Joe Biden’s silence over his role in the secret papers issue were recently discussed by Jonathan Turley, a well-known law professor from George Washington University and well-known conservative commentator. Prof. Turley forewarned that unless President Biden provides clarifying information into any potential wrongdoing by himself or members of his administration, this scandal may come back to haunt him.
Jonathan Turley attacked President Biden in an opinion piece for his ridiculous answer to White House Correspondent Peter Doocy of Fox News Channel. Inconveniently claiming it was completely safe because the space was “closed,” Biden was questioned about why he hadn’t guarded the classified materials kept in the garage of his Delaware home where a Corvette also lived. Naturally, this left-leaning legal professor wasn’t buying what our Commander-in-Chief had to say and sharply criticized him for it.

“Like a car, only better.” That slogan for Corvette sold a lot of cars, but, until last week, it was never used with regard to classified documents. President Joe Biden responded to a question Thursday from Fox’s Peter Doocy about the disclosure of additional classified documents found in his garage next to his corvette at his home in Delaware. The president responded “My Corvette is in a locked garage, OK? So, it’s not like they’re sitting out on the street.”
Like his car, it sounded like classified documents are even better to house in a garage.
There is no question that Biden’s 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is one hot car. Most of us would take the Stingray over an assortment of classified Ukraine briefing papers or memos. However, foreign intelligence may be more discerning.
Joe Biden’s “oops” error has serious consequences for his presidential campaign and is not just something to be laughed at. In fact, attempting to defend this error could be extremely dangerous, according to renowned legal expert Jonathan Turley! It seems that even trying to defend such an inaccuracy would cause problems for Joe and put him at more risk from those on the right who are aiming to take advantage of any faults they can find.
If Joe Biden used confidential documents to write his book, it’s possible that more information was exposed than was originally intended. This might have a negative impact on his credibility and cast doubt on any initial innocence.
It appears that both contenders for president will be running their campaigns with their own own legal teams for the first time in history. The election season could be genuinely exceptional as a result of this!
Given the convoluted timing of when the documents vanished, reappeared, and eventually reappeared, Joe Biden’s claims that they were merely misplaced look dubious. Even Turley acknowledged in an opinion piece that it appears that something considerably more strange is going on here than a simple typing error. The Department of Justice has been working on deciphering this odd pattern for a while, but so far with little success.
Joe Biden’s credibility is in jeopardy due to increasing evidence against him. His self-defense has been at best flimsy, which may allow the Special Counsel to conduct an even more in-depth probe should it include the Department of Justice. Only time will tell where each pawn goes in this game of chess between Biden and his opponents, so keep an eye out!
