House Republicans have taken the initiative by establishing a new judicial subcommittee under Representative Jim Jordan in an attempt to investigate any abuse of governmental authority (OH). This investigation attempts to determine if and how data collecting by the Executive Branch has improperly violated Americans’ right to privacy as well as any potential means by which our Federal Government may be turned into a weapon.
Up to 13 people will make up the formal Select Subcommittee, whose task will be to investigate the effects of weaponizing federal government entities.

The subcommittee is protesting the alleged targeting of President Donald Trump by federal agencies. According to recent reports, the FBI reportedly investigated at Mar-a-Lago and confiscated private documents from his Florida home in a move that some have questioned.
According to Axios, Elon Musk’s “Twitter Files,” which exposed links between social media corporations and the White House, provided inspiration for a Congressional subcommittee. These alliances seek to stifle anyone who disagree with their aims and censure anybody who dared to question Democratic ideals.
The new House subcommittee may address urgent issues raised by the public, such as accusations of politicization at the FBI, Dr. Fauci’s handling of the Covid-19 decisions, and whether the DOJ is overly prosecuting people who disagree with school boards by calling them “domestic terrorists” who committed “hate crimes.”
One of the most secretive advantages enjoyed by members of Congress is access to the same sensitive material that is only available to members of the House Intelligence Committee.
In an interview with Fox News, Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) expressed his enthusiasm for this new panel, stating, “We got more resources, more specificity, more power to go after his recalcitrant Biden administration.”
There is a definite difference between the views of the two sides on this matter, as shown by the Democratic MPs’ vehement opposition to the GOP’s newly established subcommittee.
Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) criticized the committee and referred to it as “reckless partisan exercise fueled by conspiracy theories.”
“Jim Jordan and Kevin McCarthy claim to be investigating the weaponization of the federal government when, in fact, this new select committee is the weapon itself,” Nadler told ABC News. “It is specifically designed to inject extremist politics into our justice system and shield the MAGA movement from the legal consequences of their actions.”
By January 2, 2025, the subcommittee would have finished “a full and complete investigation and study” of the aforementioned subjects.
Jordan is willing to take up the difficulty! This past weekend, he published a call to action, showing his zeal for getting things going and inspiring others. He said, “Time to go to work!” with tremendous resolve.
