Expose: Schiff Was just Caught Trying to Silence Journalists

Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA) is charged with misusing his position of authority to unfairly silence persons who have opposing political beliefs.

According to a recent exposé by writer Matt Taibbi on Elon Musk’s Twitter Files, Schiff and his staff were reportedly trying to restrict constitutional rights, such as freedom of the press and free speech, via their interactions with former Twitter executives. If proven, this would be considered illegal activity.

Journalist Matt Taibbi disclosed on Tuesday through Twitter Files that Adam Schiff’s office had asked for independent journalist Paul Sperry to be blocked from using the social media site. This occurs in the midst of continuous discussions over internet speech restrictions and freedom of expression.

The request messages came from the “House Permanent Select Intelligence Committee” – Schiff’s office – asking Twitter to “Suspend the many accounts, including @GregRubini and @paulsperry, which repeatedly promoted false QAnon conspiracies and harassed [REDACTED].”

Despite initial hesitancy, Twitter management looked into the targeted accounts and decided that just one was suitable for suspension. This decision was communicated through letter.

Rep. Schiff pushed hard for the unlawful deletion of all connected information from the network, including posts, quotations, retweets, and comments to that material, after obtaining documentation detailing social media activity involving himself and his employees.

The Twitter crew was hesitant to do this despite their leaning toward the left. In response, they decided it was impractical and turned down the request.

Rep. Schiff has a history of misdeeds against our country; the most recent incident is only one in a long line of scandals to his credit. Among them include inventing a new position for oneself and persistently telling lies that undermine credibility in general.

President Trump circulated vicious lies about the 2016 election and its result, motivated by his personal purpose. We now know that these claims had no basis whatsoever.

One of the journalists who was the topic of this article said that Congressman Schiff had engaged in “cyberbullying” and that the situation was more complicated than was previously thought.

“Talk about cyberbullying! @AdamSchiff used his power as head of House Intel to muscle Twitter into banning a journalist–muzzling the reporter who outed his impeachment “whistleblower” as an anti-Trump partisan Democrat, exposing Schiff’s impeachment proceeding as a political ops,” Sperry Tweeted on Jan. 4.

Sperry and Schiff’s office had a contentious conversation on a story about whistleblowing the same week that Schiff was pressing for a reporter to be banned from Twitter.

According to Sperry, “Around the same time Adam Schiff’s office was lobbying Twitter to have me banned, Schiff’s chief of staff Patrick Boland was making threats to my employer http://RealClearInvestigations.com about my stories exposing Schiff’s impeachment whistleblower & his ties to Schiff’s staffer.”

Sperry added, “Here’s the real reason House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff secretly lobbied Twitter to have me banned — he was angry I outed his anonymous impeachment ‘whistleblower.’”

Sperry and his staff had a contentious conversation over a whistleblower piece the same week that Representative Adam Schiff was attempting to have a reporter banned from Twitter.

In an email to the New York Post, Sperry said, “I have never promoted any ‘QAnon conspiracies.’ Ever. Not on Twitter. Not anywhere,” and added, “Schiff was just angry I outed his impeachment whistleblower and tried to get me banned,” he said. “I challenge Schiff to produce evidence to back up his defamatory remarks to Twitter.”

The FBI raided President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in August, and immediately after reporting on it, journalist Brian Sperry was promptly suspended from Twitter. In addition to drawing attention, his reporting that month also led to a permanent suspension.

The reporter was permitted to use Twitter once again after Elon Musk bought it in April.

As it became clear that Schiff was the subject of investigation, Greg Rubbini expressed a willingness to pursue more legal action than Sperry against the lawmaker.

According to reports, Congressman Adam Schiff has been charged with seeking to stifle US citizens’ right to free expression. Calls for his removal from Congress have been generated by the charges, proving how seriously such infractions are viewed in our democracy.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton raised a crucial point: may Rep. Adam Schiff’s efforts to restrict free speech serve as the impetus for his expulsion from the House of Representatives?

Despite constant criticism from people on all sides of the political spectrum, including Big Tech’s political agenda, freedom of speech is still regarded as a basic virtue in the United States of America. We should be thankful for free expression, which we must continue to defend at all costs.

We are grateful to Elon Musk for bringing this systematic injustice to light and taking action to eliminate it after years of official repression.
