BREAKING: AZ Supreme Court Denies Kari Lake’s Request

Republican Kari Lake filed two appeals in a lawsuit against her opponent on Wednesday, refusing to recognize the results of the Arizona governor’s election. With a move for review from the state Supreme Court, she also tried to sidestep the usual procedures for resolution, but was ultimately unsuccessful.

“Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson ruled against Lake’s challenge after finding the court was not presented with clear and convincing evidence in the widespread misconduct, she alleged influenced the election results,” Fox News reported. “Lake, on Wednesday, filed an appeal with the Appeals Court on Judge Thompson’s ruling. She also filed a motion to send the appeal to the Arizona Supreme Court, asking to skip a step with the Appeals Court. Arizona’s Supreme Court denied the request to transfer the appeal.”

The Arizona Supreme Court ruled as follows: “no good cause appears to transfer the matter to this court.”

On Wednesday evening, Lake updated the public through Twitter: “My court case will be going before the Appeals Court prior to the Arizona Supreme Court because it’s already been scheduled for review. This decision was done without prejudice & I am confident the case will end up in their hands eventually. We’re moving forward.”

Lake, who lost to Katie Hobbs by around 17,000 votes in Arizona’s governor election after a close battle, has announced her approval of a manual recount. She is now prepared to analyze all votes and put this campaign behind her after being sworn into office on January 2.

In answer to a tweeter who requested a “full hand recount of all AZ ballots,” Lake answered in only three words: “Yes. We. Do.”

Lake is requesting a reconsideration of the 10 counts of their case that Judge Thompson arbitrarily rejected in an appeal to Arizona’s highest court. No of the obstacles they still have to overcome, they are committed to obtaining justice!

Lake has filed an appeal with the court, stating that Hobbs should not be held responsible for any expenses that total more than $33,000.

On Wednesday, Judge Peter Thompson released a judgment rejecting Hobbs’ request to punish Lake.

Judge X was unable to uphold Lake’s appeal after a taxing two-day trial over the outcomes of the November gubernatorial election. Despite the decision, Hobbs received more than $33K to pay the cost of hiring experts who testified throughout the court case.

“After the litigation, Hobbs filed a request to the court seeking $36,990 in attorneys’ fees and expenses paid during a two-day trial, as well as sanctions against Lake. The court denied Hobbs’ request for sanctions against Lake, saying the claims presented in litigation were not groundless or brought in bad faith. But costs associated with fees of witnesses were covered, for the most part. Hobbs requested reimbursement of $5,900 for an expert who was retained and who testified during the court hearing,” According to Fox News.

“She also filed a separate request for expert witness fees in the amount of $22,451 and an additional $4,689.50 for the reimbursement of a person designated to inspect the ballots. The ballot inspector’s compensation, according to court documents, was charged at a rate of $565 per hour for 8.3 hours. The court agreed to reimburse the $33,040.50 to Hobbs. It also ordered that the amount accrue an annual interest of 7.5% until the money is paid in full,” the report added.

In his ruling, Judge Thompson stated: “Every one of Plaintiff’s witnesses — and for that matter, Defendants’ witnesses as well — was asked about any personal knowledge of both intentional misconduct and intentional misconduct directed to impact the 2022 General Election. Every single witness before the Court disclaimed any personal knowledge of such misconduct. The Court cannot accept speculation or conjecture in place of clear and convincing evidence.”

On Election Day in Maricopa County, several voters had difficulty, but Judge Thompson told the county that more than 200 individuals successfully cast their ballots.

“If the ballot definitions (sizes) were changed, it stands to reason that every ballot for that particular definition printed on every machine so affected would be printed incorrectly,” Thompson wrote. “As Plaintiff’s next witness indicates, that was not the case on Election Day. In either event, Mr. Parikh acknowledged that he had no personal knowledge of any intent behind what he believes to be the error.”

According to Judge Thompson, there was no proof of a denial of service on Election Day, indicating that voting went off without a hitch. Lake’s legal team was unable to provide any such evidence.

  1. No wander Hobbs did not want to debate Kari and chose to stay in the basement for the entire duration of the midterm election. She knew that the election was rigged in her favor and she knew that the Arizona justice system has hee back. This was not a real election. It was a travesty and it took place just to keep the appearance of something legal.
Once 2020 happen and nothing was done about it the election integrity in USA was doomed. From now on the thieves will steal the election and the corrupt judges will take care of stopping every legal action which my overturn the election results
The judges have mouth and that mouth speaks lies
Doesn’t take any effort to say that there is no evidence of faul play. It will never be foul play as long the thieves are involved
I wish the best for Kari but the thieve will not give away the power. Only the people can achieve that. It is not an easy task since Hobbs has plenty loyalists on her side who are too blind to realize that once elections are stolen nobody benefits from that in the long run
