The House Ways and Means Committee will release former President Donald Trump’s tax information on Friday after months of anticipation and rumors. This will provide a special perspective on some of his prior financial choices made while in government.
The committee was able to acquire tax documents when the Supreme Court gave authorization in November, at which point its inquiry was able to get started.

According to Reuters, recently disclosed government records will reveal President Trump’s entire tax history from 2015 through 2021.
The House Ways and Means Committee discovered last week that the IRS has failed to audit President Trump for three of his four years in office despite its own policies. Whether this was a purposeful oversight or not has been questioned in light of these results.
Due to the need of protecting secret information, the committee was unable to issue its report with the President’s tax returns attached. This ensured that all information shared with the public was adequately protected.
When he declared his campaign in 2016, President Trump defied decades of presidential openness by refusing to release his tax records. Since then, the decision has sparked passionate discussion and conjecture.
