The first comment was in response to a tweet from Mindy Robinson which read: “So what’s is in this Omnibus Bill politicians just passed through the senate without reading? For starters it’s written into the bill (for reasons no one can explain) that none of the $1.7 trillion dollars can be used for our current border crisis…”
Musk replied: “What utter insanity that tens of billions are being spent for border security of other countries, but none for ours!!”
Elon Musk participated in a conversation with Senators Mike Lee and Jon Tester and then contributed his original ideas to the topic.
“An amendment by Sens Sinema & Tester is designed to ensure a porous border,” a tweet from Lee read. “A wolf in sheep’s clothing to mislead the American people to believe Dems are doing something to secure our borders. It merely provides them cover to vote against my extension of Title 42 protections.”
Musk replied: “Is this true, @SenatorSinema and @SenatorTester?”
“That claim is false. Our amendment was a good-faith effort to take proposals that both Democrats and Republicans claim they support,” Tester claimed. “Both parties have failed to secure our southern border and fix our broken immigration system. We need to get serious about solving this problem.”
Musk shot back: “But shouldn’t there be some funding in this bill to secure US borders, given that we are spending tens of billions to secure the borders of other countries?”
The Biden administration is favoring retaliation over proactive action as the border issue continues to spiral out of control. They are concentrating on penalizing governments who have attempted their own fixes rather than finding a solution for this constantly worsening issue, leaving many residents in limbo and growingly desperate.

Outgoing Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey has agreed to dismantle a makeshift border wall that triggered a lawsuit by the federal government and rankled environmentalists.
In an agreement reached Wednesday with the Biden administration, Ducey said he would stop installing shipping containers on federal land along the U.S.-Mexico border, according to court documents filed in U.S. District Court in Phoenix.
The agreement comes one week after federal officials filed a lawsuit against Ducey’s administration saying the border project was illegally built on federal land.
It requires Arizona to remove containers installed in the Coronado National Forest by Jan. 4. State agencies must consult with the U.S. Forest Service to ensure materials are removed safely and without further damaging natural resources.
