Former Vice President Kamala Harris is making another effort to put herself at the center of the Democratic Party’s political future. But if her latest appearance in New Hampshire is any indication, she may have some serious explaining to do before asking voters for another shot at the White House.
Harris traveled to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on October 24 to campaign for Democratic candidates ahead of the November midterm elections. The visit was supposed to energize Democratic voters, encourage volunteers and help the party gain momentum in several competitive races.
Instead, one particular exchange has reignited criticism of her communication skills and raised questions about whether she has learned anything from her disastrous 2024 presidential campaign.
During a conversation with volunteers, Harris was asked about her experience serving in the United States Senate. Her response quickly became the subject of ridicule among political commentators.
