Newly released FBI records are raising fresh questions about the communications of Thomas Matthew Crooks, the gunman who tried to assassinate Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign.
The documents reveal previously undisclosed text exchanges involving a 3D printer, mysterious gifts, bizarre messages, and contacts whose identities remain hidden from the public.
Crooks was 20 years old when he opened fire at Trump’s July 13, 2024, rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
