Jennifer Eckhart, a former Fox Business associate producer who later launched a podcast focused on stories of personal reinvention, has died at the age of 36.
Eckhart was found dead inside her Martin County, Florida, home on September 19, according to authorities. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the death, and officials have indicated that her death was ruled a suicide.
The news marks a tragic end to a life that had included a career in television news, a highly publicized legal battle and, more recently, an effort to build a new platform centered on people overcoming adversity.
Eckhart worked for Fox Business for several years before leaving the network and pursuing other projects in media. She eventually became the host of “REINVENTED,” a podcast that highlighted people from business, sports and entertainment who had faced major obstacles before rebuilding their lives and careers.
