Months before his assassination, Charlie Kirk publicly acknowledged the threats that came with being one of the most recognizable conservative activists in America.
“You should not have to walk around with security for your entire family and for myself just because you support a politician or political candidate or certain values,” Kirk said at an event in May 2025. “We get death threats. People want to murder us.”
Four months later, Kirk was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem.
