140 Democrats Just Gave Trump a BIG Win!

President Donald Trump’s effort to establish a permanent federal operation targeting fraud just cleared a major hurdle in the House — and the vote produced a striking bipartisan coalition.

The House of Representatives voted 352-72 on Wednesday, September 16, to advance legislation that would formally establish the National Fraud Enforcement Division within the Department of Justice. Every Republican who voted backed the measure, while 139 Democrats also voted in favor, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York.

The legislation, known as the National Fraud Enforcement Division Act of 2026, would take the Trump administration’s existing fraud-fighting operation and give it permanent statutory authority.
