A 32-year-old Bank of America executive was killed Monday after an apparently random stabbing spree erupted in the heart of Times Square, ending only after New York City police shot and killed the knife-wielding suspect.
The victim, identified by authorities as Erin Piacenti of Chester, New Jersey, suffered a stab wound to the abdomen during the terrifying Manhattan attack.
Despite efforts to save her, Piacenti later died from her injuries.
