Buc-ee’s is rapidly expanding its footprint across America, but the wildly popular travel-center chain’s CEO says not every state is equally attractive when it comes to deciding where to build next.
Arch Aplin III, the company’s co-founder, president and CEO, indicated that Buc-ee’s intends to put a premium on conservative states where elected officials welcome businesses, workers are plentiful and communities appreciate the investment being brought to their doorstep.
Aplin delivered the message during the August 17 grand opening of Buc-ee’s first Arkansas location in Benton.
