The Trump administration’s expanding campaign against government waste and fraud has produced another massive figure: more than $13 billion in suspected fraud involving federal contractors.
The U.S. General Services Administration announced Tuesday that its ongoing review has identified the staggering amount since March, calling it the largest suspected fraud identification in the agency’s history based on both the dollar value involved and the number of contractors flagged.
The findings are part of GSA’s work with the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, an initiative chaired by Vice President JD Vance.
