E. Jean Carroll Just Got BAD NEWS!

The Supreme Court has shut down President Donald Trump’s final attempt to revive his challenge to the $5 million judgment won by E. Jean Carroll.

But the much larger legal battle is still sitting on the justices’ doorstep.

On August 17, the Court denied Trump’s petition for rehearing in the case involving a 2023 jury verdict that found him liable for sexually abusing and defaming Carroll. The justices had already declined to hear his appeal on June 29, and their latest unsigned order effectively ends Trump’s path to challenge that judgment.
