Hayden Panettiere, the actress who became a familiar face to millions through Heroes, Nashville and the Scream franchise, has died at just 36 years old.
Panettiere was found unresponsive at a residence in Greenville, South Carolina, on Sunday, August 16. Emergency personnel responded to the scene after an acquaintance placed a 911 call. Despite efforts to revive her, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her death has stunned fans who watched Panettiere grow from a child performer into one of Hollywood’s recognizable television stars.
