Instead, comments from the WNBA star about growing up without many dolls that looked like her are drawing scrutiny after social media users noticed something inconvenient: Reese had recently described herself as a little girl who played with Barbie dolls.
And she made that statement only days before suggesting her childhood experience was very different.
