A homicide investigation is now underway in Boston after authorities officially ruled that the death of an 18-year-old woman discovered inside a rental property owned by the husband of Democrat Representative Ayanna Pressley was the result of murder.
The case has drawn renewed attention after investigators confirmed that the young woman, Yoseliani Ann Marte Ocasio, died from a gunshot wound to the head. While the property is owned by Pressley’s husband, Conan Harris, police have repeatedly emphasized that they have found no evidence connecting the owners to the crime itself.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner announced on Thursday, July 30, that Ocasio’s death has officially been classified as a homicide after forensic testing was completed.
