Reports have emerged that Bahrain and Kuwait carried out coordinated airstrikes against military targets inside Iran earlier this month, marking what would be the first known direct military operations by the two Gulf nations against Iranian territory, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal.
Citing sources familiar with the matter, the Journal reported that fighter aircraft from Bahrain and Kuwait struck multiple Iranian military sites, including facilities used to store drones and missiles. The report also stated that the United Arab Emirates played a key supporting role by providing intelligence on the selected targets while offering defensive air cover during the operation.
