Banks Rush In After Trump’s AI Crackdown

President Donald Trump’s decision to blacklist one of America’s fastest-growing artificial intelligence companies was supposed to send a message across Washington. Instead, it may have helped fuel one of the most anticipated stock market debuts in recent memory.

While the administration moved aggressively to cut ties with Anthropic, the maker of the popular Claude AI chatbot, some of Wall Street’s biggest financial institutions appear to be betting that the controversy will only increase investor interest in the company.

According to reports, banking giants Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and JPMorgan Chase are preparing for a potential public offering that could place Anthropic among the most valuable technology firms in the world. The development comes after months of escalating tension between the Trump administration and Anthropic founder Dario Amodei.
