Iran Watching As Trump Makes Decision

The Trump administration is sending a powerful signal to Tehran as two U.S. aircraft carrier strike groups and a large concentration of American naval forces move into strategic positions near Iran following a fresh round of attacks in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to maritime tracking reports, the USS Abraham Lincoln and the USS George H.W. Bush strike groups have entered the Gulf of Oman, placing a significant amount of American military power within striking distance of Iran’s southern coastline. The deployment comes amid growing concerns that Iran is once again threatening one of the world’s most important shipping routes.

The military buildup follows a dramatic escalation earlier this month after Iranian forces allegedly targeted multiple commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. The attacks shattered hopes that a fragile ceasefire arrangement reached in April would hold and immediately raised fears of a wider regional conflict.
