The outrage machine kicked into overdrive when New York Giants quarterback prospect Jaxson Dart appeared on stage and introduced President Donald Trump at a political event earlier this year.
For days, commentators, sports personalities, and social media activists treated the moment as though the young quarterback had committed an unforgivable offense.
Now President Trump has weighed in personally.
And his comments are guaranteed to drive Dart’s critics absolutely crazy.
During an appearance with Lara Trump on Fox News, the President didn’t hold back when discussing the Giants signal caller.
Rather than apologizing for Dart’s support or distancing himself from the young athlete, Trump praised him enthusiastically.
“I wish I looked just like Jaxson,” Trump told Lara Trump. “Is he a male model or what?”
The President went on to compliment Dart’s talent, confidence, and character while predicting an extremely bright future for the quarterback.
