A major shakeup has hit the intelligence world inside the Trump administration as Amaryllis Fox Kennedy is stepping away from two prominent government roles, sparking immediate political chatter in Washington.
Fox Kennedy, a former CIA operative and daughter-in-law of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is departing her positions amid heightened tensions surrounding U.S. foreign policy and the escalating conflict involving Iran.
Her exit includes leaving her post as Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Policy and Capabilities under Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, as well as her role as Associate Director for Intelligence and International Affairs at the Office of Management and Budget.
