Former President George W. Bush is revisiting one of the most talked-about moments of his post-White House years — the now-famous exchange in which he handed former First Lady Michelle Obama a piece of candy during a public ceremony.

The lighthearted moment made headlines across the country and was celebrated by many in the media as a symbol of bipartisanship. Bush, now 79, recently sat down with his daughter, Jenna Bush Hager, during a special “History Talks” event tied to America’s upcoming 250th anniversary celebration. The event, held in Philadelphia, featured interviews with the four living former presidents and focused on leadership, life in the White House, and the future of the country.
