JUST IN: DOJ Drops Shocking Details on Anti-Abortion Targeting

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

The numbers cited in the report are striking. Prosecutors reportedly sought an average sentence of 26.8 months for pro-life defendants. In contrast, those identified as pro-abortion offenders faced average sentencing requests of just 12.3 months, less than half the time. Critics say the disparity underscores a deliberate imbalance rather than coincidence.

Even more alarming are claims that federal officials worked hand-in-hand with major abortion advocacy organizations to identify and build cases against activists. Groups such as Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation were reportedly involved in providing information that led to investigations and prosecutions.

“These groups compiled evidence and dossiers that ultimately gave rise to search warrants and charges,” the Department of Justice said. “The Biden DOJ affirmatively asked pro-abortion groups about pro-life individuals’ travel and constitutionally protected advocacy.”

The report also details incidents of vandalism and violence directed at pregnancy resource centers, particularly in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade. According to investigators, these attacks were frequently downplayed or overlooked by federal authorities, further fueling accusations of bias.

In some cases, pro-life activists were reportedly monitored for years before charges were filed. The document suggests that surveillance extended beyond criminal activity into constitutionally protected speech, raising serious First Amendment concerns.

Perhaps most controversial are allegations of ethical misconduct within the DOJ itself. The report claims that prosecutors not only worked closely with advocacy groups but also supported their efforts behind the scenes. In one instance, a lead prosecutor allegedly served as a reference for a grant application submitted by the National Abortion Federation, blurring the line between law enforcement and political activism.

Assistant Attorney General Daniel Burrows did not mince words when addressing the findings. “The behavior unearthed in this report is shameful,” he said. “Lawyers who should have known better withheld evidence, worked to keep committed religious people off juries, and generally allowed the Department of Justice to be used as the enforcement arm of pro-abortion special interests.”

The fallout is already beginning. Officials tied to President Donald Trump say steps are underway to correct what they describe as years of politically motivated enforcement. That includes pardons for certain activists previously prosecuted under the FACE Act and new internal guidelines that limit when such cases can be brought.

Under the updated directive, DOJ attorneys are now instructed to pursue abortion-related prosecutions only in “extraordinary circumstances” or when clear aggravating factors are present.

As the political battle over abortion rights continues to divide the nation, this report is likely to intensify scrutiny on how laws are enforced and whether justice is truly blind. For many Americans, the findings raise a fundamental question: can the institutions meant to uphold fairness be trusted to remain above politics?
