NO DEAL: JD Vance Delivers Brutal Message to Iran

Vice President JD Vance delivered a blunt and unmistakable message to the world Saturday evening, confirming that high-stakes negotiations between the United States and Iran have collapsed without a deal. Speaking from Islamabad after marathon talks, Vance made it clear that the Iranian regime ultimately refused to meet America’s core demands—leaving tensions unresolved and the door open for serious consequences.

The discussions, which stretched beyond 21 hours and were facilitated in Pakistan, represented the most direct engagement between Washington and Tehran since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Despite the historic nature of the talks, Vance acknowledged that while dialogue occurred, the outcome fell far short of expectations.

“We’ve been at it now for 21 hours, and we’ve had a number of substantive discussions with the Iranians. That’s the good news,” Vance said. “The bad news is that we have not reached an agreement. And I think that’s bad news for Iran much more than it’s bad news for the United States of America.”

That remark underscored the administration’s posture: the United States believes it holds the stronger position, even without a signed agreement. Vance reinforced that stance moments later, adding, “So we go back to the United States having not come to an agreement.”
