Trump Breaks Silence on Iran’s Supreme Leader

A new mystery is unfolding inside Iran’s leadership circle as President Donald Trump revealed that he has received reports suggesting the country’s recently installed Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, may no longer be alive.

During a phone interview with NBC News, Trump disclosed that intelligence and informal reports circulating among international observers indicate the younger Khamenei may have died following recent military strikes that rocked the Iranian regime.

“I’m hearing he’s not alive, and if he is, he should do something very smart for his country, and that’s surrender,” the president said. “I don’t know if he’s even alive. So far, nobody’s been able to show him,” he said.

The comments come amid growing uncertainty about who is truly running Iran’s government after the death of longtime ruler Ali Khamenei earlier this year.

Ali Khamenei’s death reportedly occurred during the first wave of coordinated U.S. and Israeli airstrikes targeting strategic Iranian military and government infrastructure on February 28. Iranian state media later confirmed the regime leader had been killed in the strikes, marking a stunning moment in Middle Eastern geopolitics.
