Gavin’s Big 2028 Rollout Just Backfired BAD

For nearly a decade, Democratic leaders and their media allies insisted they were the “adults in the room.” They mocked Republicans as chaotic and divided. They claimed their party was steady, disciplined, and united.

Then CNN looked at the 2028 field and called it a “downright clown car” and a “total mess.”

That wasn’t a Republican super PAC talking. That was CNN’s own chief data analyst, Harry Enten.

And the timing could not have been worse for California Governor Gavin Newsom.

A Frontrunner Nobody Is Rallying Behind

According to the numbers laid out on CNN, Newsom technically leads the early 2028 Democratic primary field at 19 percent. That sounds impressive until you look one inch deeper.

Kamala Harris trails him at 18 percent. Pete Buttigieg sits at 13 percent. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez comes in at 12 percent.
