Rapper Cardi B once again found herself at the center of controversy this week after a bizarre onstage mishap in Las Vegas that quickly turned political — at least according to her own words.
During a Friday night performance at the T-Mobile Arena, the outspoken rapper suffered an unexpected fall that was captured on video and rapidly spread across social media. The incident occurred while Cardi B was seated on a chair mid-performance during her “Little Miss Drama Tour.” As she leaned back, the chair tipped, sending her tumbling backward onto the stage before she could finish the song.
Video footage shows background dancers immediately rushing toward her, briefly surrounding her body and awkwardly improvising choreography until she stood back up. Despite the hard fall, Cardi B appeared uninjured and quickly regained her composure.
What happened next, however, drew far more attention than the fall itself.
