UK Police Arrest Over 30 People Daily for Online Speech
The Times of London uncovered police data showing an alarming crackdown on speech. British authorities are arresting more than 30 people every day for social media posts.
That adds up to roughly 12,000 arrests annually under Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003 and Section 1 of the Malicious Communications Act 1988.
