A Florida getaway turns into a deadly ambush
Robert Luis Kraft, 69, his brother Douglas Joseph Kraft, 68, and their longtime friend James Puchan, 68, were in Kissimmee for a guys’ trip. The plan was simple: enjoy the weekend, hit up a car show, and make memories the way close friends do when life gets busy and time is short.
But on Saturday afternoon, that trip turned tragic.
Authorities say the three men were outside their rental home dealing with trouble involving a rental car. Reports indicate they were waiting for help—stuck, frustrated, but likely assuming the worst thing they’d face that day would be a delay or a tow truck.
