VIDEO: Parishioners Harassed During Anti-ICE Protest

Former CNN host Don Lemon found himself at the center of a growing national controversy this weekend after livestreaming a chaotic anti-ICE protest that erupted inside a Christian church in St. Paul, Minnesota. What began as Lemon’s self-described effort to “bring you the truth” about Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations quickly spiraled into a disturbing scene that left parishioners shaken and federal authorities taking notice.

On Saturday, Lemon announced to his social media followers that he was traveling to Minnesota to cover ICE activity firsthand. Framing himself as a lone truth-teller pushing back against what he suggested was government misconduct, Lemon made clear he intended to broadcast the events live.

“I’ve seen enough. I’m heading to Minnesota to report on ICE and bring you the truth,” Don Lemon said in an Instagram post on Saturday.

He followed that declaration with another promotional message encouraging viewers to tune in to his livestream.
