This Christian College Move After Roe Has Pro Lifers Furious

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

What they found shocked even seasoned pro-life activists.

Since the Dobbs ruling, abortion support at Christian colleges has surged by 38%.

Instead of distancing themselves from abortion providers after states regained authority to protect unborn life, these institutions moved closer to them.

One in seven Christian colleges now maintains direct connections to the abortion industry.

More than 26% openly refer students to Planned Parenthood and label it a “health resource.”

That means schools claiming to follow Christ are sending students to the nation’s largest abortion provider.

Nearly half of all documented violations involved Planned Parenthood being listed as a trusted campus resource.

Some colleges went even further.

Students were offered internships, volunteer placements, or even academic credit for working with abortion providers.

Elite Universities Lead the Shift Left

American University in Washington, D.C. topped the list with 34 separate abortion-related connections.

The Methodist-affiliated school runs an alternative spring break program focused on “Youth Empowerment and Reproductive Health.”

Its Antiracism Center promotes abortion resource guides and openly attacks states that passed pro-life laws after Roe was overturned.

Duke University also received a failing grade.

In September 2024, Duke hosted a panel where doctors and lawyers described abortion as “healthcare” and criticized states for protecting unborn children.

Southern Methodist University recorded 14 violations, including a webpage directing students to Planned Parenthood affiliates.

Even Villanova University, one of the most prominent Catholic universities in the country, failed the evaluation.

The report found a consistent pattern across denominations and regions.

Once Roe fell, schools that had previously hidden their abortion ties stopped pretending.

Choosing Politics Over Scripture

The Dobbs decision forced institutions to take sides.

And many Christian colleges made their choice.

Holy Cross College’s Women and Gender Studies department condemned the Supreme Court ruling on its website immediately after it was announced.

Bethany College in West Virginia invited Planned Parenthood representatives to campus to speak on “reproductive rights.”

These were not quiet or accidental moves.

They were public statements that progressive ideology now outweighs biblical teaching in higher education.

Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins said the contradiction is impossible to ignore.

“You can’t be Christian and be pro-abortion,” Hawkins told Fox News Digital.

“If you are a Christian, you profess to serve a God who spoke the universe into existence. He sent his only son to die a painful, excruciating death, to rise again in three days so we can live in heaven for all eternity. He did that because we, as His creation, are infinitely invaluable.”

The report also identified 65 professors at Christian colleges with documented ties to the abortion industry.

Fourteen had direct employment or leadership connections to abortion organizations.

Why Abortion Groups Target Christian Campuses

Planned Parenthood’s presence near colleges is no accident.

Nearly 90% of its facilities are located within five miles of a college campus.

The strategy is simple.

Young adults are financially vulnerable and often told that pregnancy will derail their future.

When Christian colleges legitimize abortion providers, they amplify that message.

Hawkins warned this represents a complete rejection of Christian teaching.

“Every human being is infinitely invaluable because we were created in God’s own image,” she said.

“To support, really what has now become, sadly, the literal human sacrifice for the God of yourself or for other ambition or career goals is to be fundamentally rejecting the truth of what it means to be a Christian.”

Pressure Works and Some Schools Are Changing

The report was not all bad news.

Sixty-six schools earned an A+ rating, a 13.5% increase from 2024.

These colleges actively promote pregnancy resource centers and life-affirming support for students.

When confronted with their abortion ties, several institutions acted quickly.

Abilene Christian University removed Planned Parenthood from its internship listings.

Presbyterian College in South Carolina dropped Planned Parenthood from its career guide.

St. Mary’s University of Minnesota removed Planned Parenthood from its employer database.

Hawkins said Students for Life will continue working with schools willing to change.

“If you are willing to get rid of all of your ties to the abortion industry, promote the pregnancy centers — non-violent healthcare centers – we are more than happy to share this as a win, and get the word out,” she said.

Parents, donors, and alumni now face a simple question.

Do Christian colleges still stand for the values they claim to teach?

And if not, why should anyone trust them with the next generation?
