Renee Good Shooting Takes Astonishing Turn!

The confirmation of Ross’s internal injuries could prove pivotal in reshaping public understanding of the case. In the immediate aftermath, short and selectively circulated video clips spread rapidly online, igniting protests and outrage from left-wing activist groups. Those early clips showed Good’s SUV moving toward a group of federal agents, but critics accused Ross of using excessive force without fully acknowledging the danger faced by officers on the scene.

Federal officials now say a growing body of evidence—including forensic findings and hospital documentation—backs Ross’s account that he was struck by the vehicle before firing. Investigators report that the SUV made direct contact with Ross’s lower body, producing injuries consistent with blunt-force trauma and internal bleeding.

U.S. Border Patrol Commander Gregory Bovino confirmed that Ross is currently recovering and has been placed in a secure location after receiving multiple death threats. “He’s in a safe location. He’s recovering from those injuries, and we’re thankful that he’s recovering,” Bovino said.

Additional context has also emerged regarding Ross’s prior experiences in the field. Medical and court records show that he was seriously injured in a similar incident just months earlier, in June, when he was dragged by a vehicle during an attempted arrest in the same region. That incident required 33 stitches and several days of hospitalization—an ordeal officials say likely influenced his assessment of risk during the Minneapolis encounter.

Renee Good, 37, was killed after allegedly attempting to ram Ross and other ICE officers while using her SUV to block their vehicle. Federal officials later described her as being affiliated with ICE Watch, a radical anti-ICE activist network accused of repeatedly interfering with immigration enforcement operations in sanctuary jurisdictions.

Despite the intense political rhetoric surrounding the case, some members of Good’s family have publicly pushed back against the narrative being promoted by activist groups. Her former father-in-law, Timmy Macklin, appeared on CNN’s Erin Burnett OutFront, where he expressed sympathy for all involved and declined to blame the agent. “It’s hard for everybody involved,” Macklin said. “At first, I didn’t see the footage where he was actually being rammed. I’ve seen the bumper of the car hitting his legs. And so in a flash like that, it’s hard to say how you would react.”

Macklin also made clear that while he grieves Good’s death, he does not excuse her behavior. “Do I agree with everything that she did? Absolutely not.”

Similarly, during a segment on CBS Evening News, anchor Tony Dokoupil revealed that Good’s biological father—also a Trump supporter—expressed frustration over what he described as the politicization of his daughter’s death by activists and media figures.

Federal officials stress that the investigation remains ongoing. However, early conclusions drawn from body camera footage, eyewitness testimony, and medical records reportedly indicate that Ross’s use of force aligns with DHS policy. A senior federal law enforcement source told Fox News Digital that the internal review is “moving toward closure” and that “every piece of evidence backs the officer’s account.”

These developments appear to validate Secretary Noem’s initial assessment that the agent “used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers.”

For now, Agent Ross remains on administrative leave as required by protocol, continuing his recovery while DHS completes its final report. As more facts come to light, officials say the evidence increasingly points toward a tragic but justified act of self-defense amid a volatile and dangerous confrontation.
