The debate ignited when Trump posted a graphic online comparing himself to FDR. Roosevelt stood beside the traditional 30-year mortgage. Trump stood next to a new concept labeled “50-Year Mortgage” under the title “Great American Presidents.”
It did not take long for confirmation to arrive. Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte jumped in, writing on X, “Thanks to President Trump, we are indeed working on The 50 year Mortgage – a complete game changer.”
