Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is not backing down. The Georgia firebrand erupted on Friday night after President Trump publicly yanked his endorsement from her, a political earthquake that immediately set the conservative world buzzing.
Trump announced the move on Truth Social, telling supporters he was finished supporting the congresswoman. He declared, “I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia.”
According to Trump, he was frustrated with Greene’s constant criticism despite what he described as his record of “historic achievements.” He also claimed the tension escalated after he sent her a poll suggesting she should not run for Governor or Senator in upcoming elections.
MTG did not let the statement slide. Instead, she responded with a blistering message accusing the former president of lying about her and misrepresenting their interactions.
