For George, a 79-year-old Vietnam veteran and Studio City landlord, that test came in the most shocking way. His quick thinking and courage left a naked intruder dead on his apartment floor.
George was defending two women in his Studio City apartment complex early Friday morning when chaos erupted. Around 7:15 a.m., a fully naked man burst into the building.¹
Surveillance footage showed the man wandering the Tujunga Avenue neighborhood unclothed, grabbing signs, and knocking on doors.² When he forced his way inside George’s building, he immediately encountered the two women, who screamed for help.
