Videos circulating on social media show flares being set off and people running for safety as masked agitators clashed violently near the entrance of the building. Officers in riot gear were seen forming lines, deploying shields, and attempting to separate the groups as chaos spread.

According to Fox News, “A bloody fight broke out near the University of California, Berkeley, on Monday afternoon, ahead of a Turning Point USA event on campus.” The event, part of the “This Is The Turning Point” tour, featured Dr. Frank Turek and comedian Rob Schneider—an appearance meant to encourage young Americans to embrace free thought and open debate.
Instead, the night became yet another display of the far left’s intolerance for opposing viewpoints.
The Fox News report added that the incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. PST. “During the brawl, two men were seen fighting each other, one of whom had blood gushing from his face.”
Video footage shows a crowd of agitators circling the fight while shouting slogans and waving signs with radical left-wing messages. Many of the protesters wore keffiyehs and face coverings, concealing their identities as they engaged in physical confrontation.
Local law enforcement quickly moved in, but containment proved difficult. Officers were seen putting on protective face shields and preparing batons as tensions continued to rise. Despite police intervention, the violence raged on until several individuals were detained.
At this time, it remains unclear how many people were injured in the melee.
The violent disruption comes just two months after the tragic assassination of TPUSA’s founder Charlie Kirk at a Utah campus event on September 10—an event that shocked the conservative movement and raised serious concerns about political extremism targeting the right.
The parallels between that tragedy and Monday night’s brawl are impossible to ignore. Both incidents highlight a disturbing trend: conservative voices are being silenced not through debate, but through intimidation and physical violence.
