Football fans watching Sunday’s matchup between the Washington Commanders and Detroit Lions were treated to an unexpected — and wildly entertaining — surprise when President Donald Trump joined the FOX Sports broadcast booth mid-game.

Trump Takes Over the Booth
Midway through the game, FOX commentators Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma welcomed the president into the booth at FedExField. As Commanders quarterback Marcus Mariota marched into the red zone, Trump couldn’t resist jumping in.
“I think this is a very important couple of plays,” Trump said as Mariota lined up for a second-and-7 from Detroit’s 9-yard line. “They have to get a touchdown. Let’s put it differently. They just have to get a touchdown. Forget about the play.”
