ICE Agents AMBUSHED – Suspects on the Run!

Federal law enforcement officers faced a terrifying ambush in Chicago on Saturday when Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents came under fire in what Homeland Security officials are calling a “coordinated attack.”

According to the Department of Homeland Security, agents were carrying out immigration enforcement operations near 26th Street and Kedzie Avenue when an armed man in a black Jeep opened fire and fled the scene. Alongside the gunfire, an “unknown number of agitators” hurled a paint can and bricks at federal vehicles, escalating the chaos.

The Chicago Police Department rushed to assist federal agents in clearing the scene, but the shooter and vehicle remain at large. DHS described the situation as “dynamic” and warned that more violence could unfold.

Eyewitness video from the scene showed a swarm of flashing police lights and helicopters hovering above the area. Among the responding officials was Border Patrol Commander at Large Greg Bovino, who is overseeing the Biden administration’s “Operation Midway Blitz” enforcement surge. Bovino was reportedly on the ground when agitators began pelting agents with objects, many shouting in Spanish as tensions boiled over.
