Democrat mayors are sending a loud and clear message — and police officers across America have heard it.
Law enforcement doesn’t come first anymore. Lawbreakers do.
Across blue cities from Chicago to New York, billions of taxpayer dollars are being funneled into programs for illegal aliens while police departments struggle to survive on crumbs. It’s a slap in the face to the men and women who risk their lives to keep those same cities safe.
“It’s very frustrating for law enforcement”
The National Police Association just called out the madness.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, spokeswoman Sergeant Betsy Brantner Smith laid bare the growing outrage among police.
“It’s very frustrating for law enforcement,” Smith stated. “There are so many financial resources spent toward illegal aliens, as well as all the political capital that is being spent right now in Chicago in support of illegal aliens.”
Those numbers tell a story of broken priorities.
New York City is spending a staggering $8.9 billion across 2024 and 2025 to house and support illegal immigrants. Illinois has burned through more than $2.5 billion since 2021. Chicago alone dumped roughly $255 million on food, housing, and clothing for people who aren’t even supposed to be here — all while the Chicago Police Department operates nearly 1,000 officers short and faces another $98 million in cuts.
