Time’s “Triumph” Cover Turns Into a PR Disaster
This week, Time unveiled a special cover honoring President Trump’s landmark Gaza ceasefire agreement, boldly headlined “His Triumph.”
The accompanying article even admitted it could become “a signature achievement of Trump’s second term” and mark “a strategic turning point for the Middle East.”
But their photo choice was anything but complimentary.
The image — shot from a low angle with harsh backlighting — made Trump’s hair appear nearly transparent, creating what he described as a “floating crown” effect. Many viewers said it looked intentionally designed to make him look foolish rather than presidential.
