Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar has once again ignited outrage after doubling down on her verbal assault against conservative activist Charlie Kirk, even as Americans mourn his assassination.
The “Squad” member, who arrived in the United States as a Somali refugee, is now facing escalating calls for deportation. Commentators and supporters of Kirk argue that her remarks cross the line into outright hostility toward the country that gave her refuge.
Omar previously fumed that Republicans defending Kirk were “full of s**t.” This week, she went further, telling progressive outlet Zeteo that the Turning Point USA founder has “no legacy to honor.”
