We have reasserted that America belongs to the American people,” Trump asserted.

Trump also pointed to the reality on the ground. Migrants have openly admitted to reporters that they pay coyotes thousands of dollars, or even smuggle drugs as mules, just to cross into the United States. Under Biden, that dangerous and criminal trade exploded into a billion-dollar industry.
