Kirk revealed on Tucker Carlson’s show that three companies—Klarna, Affirm, and Afterpay—were quietly luring young Americans into debt through what seems like harmless convenience. It wasn’t harmless at all.
“My question for every Republican senator and congressman watching this, if you do not know these four letters, then you are not doing your job. BNPL, do you know what that means?” Kirk asked, his voice cutting through the broadcast like a siren.
BNPL—Buy Now, Pay Later—lets anyone split purchases into small payments. Sounds easy, right? But as Kirk explained, it bypasses traditional banking rules completely. No oversight. No limits. And young people are now financing things as small as pizza through foreign companies.
