Far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar is once again stirring controversy—this time by claiming that life in her native Somalia wasn’t as bad as living in the United States under President Donald Trump.
The Minnesota Democrat made the stunning remarks over the weekend on the YouTube channel Democracy Now!. During the interview, Omar lashed out at the Trump administration for restoring law and order to cities plagued by chaos, crime, and violent protests.
She painted a dark picture of America, claiming federal law enforcement officers and National Guard troops deployed to protect cities like Washington, D.C., and Chicago were somehow turning the country into a dictatorship.
