WRN reports that the family member, visibly shaken, confirmed Twiggs was living with Robinson at the time of the shooting. When asked directly, they said: “I knew he had a boyfriend. I never met him. None of us had.”
The relative said Twiggs himself had revealed the relationship, telling other family members he wanted to introduce his boyfriend over lunch. However, the family says they had not seen Twiggs in years and had no contact with Robinson before the tragedy.
The family member did not mince words when describing Twiggs’ behavior. “The relative alleged that Lance Twiggs is ‘not mentally well at all,’” WRN reported. When asked about Twiggs’ reported transgender identity, the relative responded, “This is true. I can’t be sure of when it started. I have suspicions it would have been about four years.”
They further explained why they had cut ties with Twiggs, saying, “I did not want him around my personal family. He’s not a healthy person. He is very angry with anyone who is supportive of conservative ideals and Christian values.”
Above all, the family expressed heartbreak over the killing of Charlie Kirk, a man they admired for his courage and beliefs.
“We feel collectively as a family – we feel sick. We were all very devastated that this happened to Charlie Kirk,” the relative told WRN, their voice breaking. “It should never have happened. We liked him with the things he believed in. This shouldn’t happen in our country at all.”
Another family member contacted by WRN refused to speak on the matter, telling reporters they had “no comment” before hanging up the phone.
As the investigation continues, questions surrounding the shooter’s motives and personal relationships remain at the forefront—especially in light of these alarming new revelations from within Twiggs’ own family.
