The shocking murder of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk has taken an even darker turn. Utah Governor Spencer Cox revealed Friday that disturbing messages were discovered carved into the shell casings linked to accused shooter Tyler Robinson.
The Engraved Messages
Authorities say Robinson, a 22-year-old student at Utah State University, climbed onto the roof of Utah Valley University and fired a single shot from a hunting rifle, killing Kirk as he spoke to students.
Governor Cox confirmed that investigators found bizarre and hateful engravings on the rifle casings, apparently meant to leave a twisted calling card.
“Inscriptions on a fired casing read ‘notices, bulges, capital O-W-O, what’s this?’” Cox said.
Other shells carried even more direct threats: “Inscriptions on the three unfired casings read ‘Hey fascist! Catch!’ Up-arrow symbol, right-arrow symbol, and three down-arrow symbols.”
