That’s a sharp reversal from the Biden years, when foreign-born workers claimed most new jobs while Americans struggled.
Now, Trump’s enforcement strategy is kicking in exactly as promised.
The administration’s incentives are pushing illegal aliens to leave on their own before being arrested.
“All illegal aliens are encouraged to leave the country by self-deporting using the CBP Home App to receive $1,000, a free flight, travel assistance, and the potential opportunity to come back the legal way,” McLaughlin explained. “Don’t wait: leave today before it’s too late.”
Economist E.J. Antoni said it’s the best July jobs report ever for native-born Americans.
Employment for U.S.-born workers is up two million year-over-year — outpacing foreign-born job growth by 2.2 million.
Native-born employment is now 1.8 million above pre-pandemic levels.
Border security gains are equally stunning.
Illegal crossings are down 93%, and “gotaways” — the ones who sneak past — are down 99% under Trump and Secretary Kristi Noem.
At Panama’s notorious Darien Gap, only 10 migrants crossed in June, compared to Biden’s record of 82,000 in one month.
“The world is hearing our message that America’s borders are closed to lawbreakers,” McLaughlin declared. “Thanks to President Trump and Secretary Noem, we have the most secure border in American history.”
Since January 2025, the U.S. has raked in over $130 billion in tariffs — more than any of the last five fiscal years.
Customs and Border Protection, under Noem, is collecting tariffs at a 99.5% success rate.
The Left claimed Trump’s policies were racist and destructive.
They swore deportations would crush the economy and cause labor shortages.
Instead, the July jobs report has exposed those claims as total fiction.
During Trump’s first term, unemployment hit record lows for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, and women.
Biden reversed Trump’s border policies — and the results were disastrous.
Foreign-born workers took millions of jobs while Americans faced inflation and economic instability.
Trump has ended the “de minimis” trade loophole that let drugs and counterfeit goods pour in.
He scrapped Biden’s catch-and-release policies and shut down the CBP One app that allowed over a million illegal aliens into the country.
By removing illegal competition, American workers can demand higher pay and better conditions.
Workforce programs now only serve those legally allowed to work.
“America’s workforce is stronger than ever under President Trump’s leadership because he is committed to upholding the rule of law and putting American workers first,” said Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer.
ICE is also going on offense, calling out media outlets that downplay enforcement.
“We have to combat the left side media that just totally stifles what ICE is really doing,” Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons told Breitbart News.
Wages are climbing.
Foreign companies are moving production to the U.S. to avoid tariffs.
Communities are safer with violent criminals being deported instead of released.
Democrats said Trump’s America First plan was impossible.
The July jobs report proves they were wrong — again.
This is only the beginning of a long-term economic revival built on secure borders, strong enforcement, and putting American workers first.
